This hat is hand-blocked from black seagrass in NYC, then hand sewn with black raw-edge strips of moire fabric at the crown and ties.

This Is a decorative piece meant to be worn either tilted or towards the back of the head like a halo.

WHAT’S IN A NAME
This style is our first deconstructed piece ever. It is inspired by a fictional scenario where I imagined myself as a new immigrant in Victorian America, salvaging discarded drapes in disgust with the excess of my new found home.
