Aloya Hat

Aloya Hat
This lampshade hat has a shallow crown and a dramatic brim reminiscent of 1940s partywear. It is entirely handmade by a master straw sewer in New York. The Aloya is slightly sheer and lightweight, shielding the sun from your face in a dressier way than most straw hats. The hat secures itself with a hidden elastic strap worn at the nape, under your hair. The vintage shape is great day to night piece for spring and summer: wear it with everything from a swimsuit or a sundress, to a linen suit for an evening drink on a rooftop.
